Frequently Asked Questions
Do you provide dog training services in Falmouth, VA?
Yes! While our facility is located at 1013 Caroline St in Fredericksburg, we actively serve Falmouth and all surrounding communities including Stafford, Spotsylvania Courthouse, Chancellorsville, King George, Port Royal, Locust Grove, Ladysmith, Bowling Green, and Culpeper. In-home training class options bring our expertise directly to your Falmouth location.
What training methods do you use?
Most of our programs utilize e-collar training to achieve reliable off-leash obedience—methods that are safe, humane, and globally recognized. For pet parents who prefer purely positive reinforcement, our Basic Marker Mastery™ course uses clicker-based techniques without e-collars or prong collars. All methods prioritize building a strong bond between you and your dog.
How long does dog training take to see results?
Timeline varies based on the program and your dog’s starting behavior. Private lessons span 4-8 sessions, while board and train programs range from one week to three weeks. We guarantee 100% obedience, off-leash, distraction-proof results—and owner consistency after training is key to maintaining those benefits long-term.
Do you offer training for aggressive dogs?
Absolutely. We offer specialized aggression and reactivity programs including our 8-lesson Aggression/Anxiety package and the 3 Week Behavioral Board & Train designed for dogs with significant behavioral issues. During your free consultation, we’ll assess your dog’s specific situation and create a plan. Note that while we achieve remarkable transformations, complete fixes cannot be guaranteed for all major behavioral issues.
Can you train all dog breeds?
Yes—our methods work for 98% of dogs regardless of breed, size, or age. From small breeds to large working dogs, puppies to senior rescue dogs, we tailor our approach to each individual dog’s temperament, health, and learning style.
